I like how the design of the dress creates a kind of geometry and subtly yet strategically covers the body.

  • Just got my black Mazda 2 Sports Edition Hatchback 2 days agolaughing Loove it! Anyway, i've just been lazing around at home, going out or going for a drive. Nothing really world-changing. Been staying up at night reading up about the Ice Age and watching Prehistoric America and Elie Saab FW 2011-12 podcasts. Went to look at baking books, really getting into the MasterChef mood haha! It's so interesting looking at people make tasteful food, aesthetically and literally. I got a chocolate souffle recipe (!) from one of the books from the library. Should probably try out making it during this holidays by borrowing an oven. Have also been watching Adele interviews and performances on YouTube!! heart Bought her sophomore album '21' and will be playing it in mah car definitely. She's one of the most natural, down-to-earth and funniest celebs ever and she's got the cutest laugh, or should i say cackle, and the prettiest face (NO JOKE)!!!!!! Her North London accent is absolutely cute too hahaa :D And her voice is so powerful it resonates and lingers. Will get her debut album '19' soon.

In other news, i might not be going for a short trip anymore ): Firstly, there's no one to go with me (yeah how sad and loner-ish) and secondly, i've run out of money, or rather it's too much of an extravagance after getting a car.

Should spend my time pondering over my future, near future - further education. It's really near. I have only approximately 6 more months of school when term starts before i graduate. What should i major in for my degree? MAJOR PONDER-WORTHY ISSUE. Whilst thinking, i should also catch up on my movies and some not so important businesses like which films my all time fav Brit actors are gonna star in next and then constantly stalk and watch them on YouTube and of course, the actual film. E.g. Carey Mulligan. But i already know she's doing The Great Gatsby. Oh and Drive with Ryan Gosling. See how unimportant these things are that they take up so much of my life.

And how intricately linked these two people in my post are!!! - Adele and Carey (yeah, totally mah friend). One of Adele's favorite musicians are, okay they are a group, English folk rock band Mumford & Sons AND OF COURSE, CAREY IS ENGAGED TO MARCUS MUMFORD OF MUMFORD & SONS!!! Okay, let us all calm down and resume to non caps fonts.

Also, i think i need to take time out every week to reflect upon what's going on or what took place in my life. I can't quite recall what's been going on because everything happens so quickly (wow i'm such a popular person that my life is such a whirlwind i can't stop and relish in any moment). This is no joke, reflecting is a very healthy process and everyone should engage in this mind-provoking (if you actually engage in deep and intellectual stuff at all) affair.

Ohoh, just thought you might wanna know, my asos sandals arrived in quite a pompous (the postlady was knocking on the door and ringing the bell, which woke me from my sleep) manner about a week ago! (:

Nails nails nails. Time for a session!

  • I'm being really free and staying up in the middle of the night surfing the web. And I find Petra Collins' works really touch me. They have the vibes that make me wanna relish in her photographs, even for one moment.

Okay hold on, before i give you the link to her site, let me just stare at more of her photographs first.

Alright, here - Check out her works! And more artists who take photographs that bring you into another world/time.

  • I want this cocorosa t shirt from zara! Haha cos i luv herrr. She's amazing! - Her style, and her DIY sense. Okay, i'll get it only if the tee is not that expensive..

Check out her blog post and humble thoughts on this here!

Oh in other news, I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST!!! AHAHAHAHAH THIS IS AWESOMEEEE :D Thank God! I don't have to take it another time! It'll be sucha chore, plus i have to spend money again.. i think the whole course cost me about 1.5K ++ :/ And i have to save up to get a car, a second hand one though. But who cares, as long as it can move me around! Hahah(: Okay fine, it has to look nice toolaughing and be rather cheap.

Today's quite a good day - I passed my driving test for one, and secondly i handed my research in to my friend's boss whom i've been working for for the past 2 weeks and she seems rather happy! I just hope my research helped, that's all. And i got a cheque of 200 bucks! Heh (:

Okay, what's next on the list.. oh i still have yet to plan/book tickets for my holiday, which i really hope will happen before school starts again mid october! I'd probably go to Japan, but it may be too ex. So i'll go on a cruise or something, or some boat thing that's relaxing cos that's the main point of my trip. I'll settle for which one is more affordable. And a cool weather would be preferable! Ahh, waking up late, having brunch, doing things at my own pace, exploring the place - how good is this! But i'm thinking of Germany as i speak.. (cos of the Art 21 show i watched on Okto's art section) or some European country. Sigh, that wouldn't be within budget!

Oh well, hope everything goes well! Will start researching tomorrow.

Ohohoh! How could i forget! We celebrated my sis' 21st birthday on saturday! It was great! Good food, nice company and overall great atmosphere! Successful party cos many people were pleased and most importantly, enjoyed themselves! :D Yayy!

P.s. I've become so money-conscious ever since, this afternoon! And now that i'm listing everything i wanna do.. Gosh. It's all cos of the car! But i would really want one. Cars in Singapore are so expensive though.
